Cy has snowshoed from the Access road to the power line. Cy, Roy and I made a lovely track all the way to the green cabin. Someone has plowed the road to the wood pile so it is a bit dodgey, but doable. The rest is great, but fast! Klister or step skis work best, tho the klister didn’t last past the pond.

Ski-doo trails groomed so skating should be awesome, or classic with klister. Will be even better after the skidoos grind up that snow tonight.

CTT has been track set but with the old groomer as apparently it is a little narrow and curvaceous for the new one and it is interesting to compare the two-Beech hill is tons better.(see below)

From Graham:

Just had a look at Beech. Brett set tracks. Unfortunately no skate grooming yet. Must have been a tough grooming job. Very difficult crusting was broken up and the classic tracks are very good, except of course if you fall out of them on the hills you’re going to come face to face with a lot of 1 1/2 inch ice cubes! Neverthelesss. skiing is now very good at Beech.
