Trail Conditions

A barren Landscape- but…

Although it is looking hopeful, still not quite enough snow on the ground, unless you want to try the golf course(please stay off the greens) or the field at Beech Hill. Otherwise you could try the nice trails in Souris PEI sourisstriders.ca/ where they have just enough snow to groom and ski, or at Amiski in St Antonin, QC clubamiski.weebly.com/ where there 15-20 Km of lovely trails and lots of snow, although they are closed today for some reason- grooming info on their Facebook page. Skating wise, the Pickard Quarry is good, there is 14 cm of ice on the SWFPark which is a bit bumpy with a big open area near the hiway and a few small open holes here and there, and Silver Lake has about 12 cm of ice, smoothest on the back section with open areas reported by the skate scouts, but exact location not. So definitely take dry clothes and your rescue rope and ice picks, and your friend(s). keep (snow) dancing,
