A late afternoon ski

4 p.m. would likely be the best time to ski if you wish to avoid the present luge-like conditions. I think Sean and Kip must have been out with their new Hydrogen powered mini-zamboni getting the tracks ready for Strava glory. Glide was pretty close to a 4 out of 4, great for the lazy skier, but not if you want to get a good workout. It was already +3 at the Lodge so by 4 p.m. there should be enough water in the snow to undo the Zamboni Effect. If it remains mostly cloudy this will keep conditions more consistent so you don’t have those exhilarating excelerations and decelerations.
