Bucky should be at the grooming as I write this. He may just groom everything flat- certainly this is the plan for the Crooked Tree Trail which as of yesterday had considerably less snow than more open/deciduous areas and my ski base and the gravel were doing some unpleasant grinding with each other as I did the circuit yesterday. If it is packed flat it should be pretty good in an hour or so once it sets up. Similar conditions will be found on Quarry-G0_Round going down to the bridge so be cautious there. And if you are the first one to Sugar Brook Lodge feel free to clear the snow off the deck. There is a shovel on the outside wall around the corner from the door and there should be a manual around somewhere which gives usage detailed instructions in multiple official languages.
