Expect a glazed fast track today, where it wasn’t obliterated by all the traffic yesterday. Glide should be 3-3.5 with minimal soft snow for snow plowing, and if you head into the ungroomed snow on the side to slow down you can expect to break through the crust and it will catch your ankles and your feet will certainly slow down, so make sure you lean back if you want any hope of staying erect! Bucky’s efforts today will be on getting the groomer to the mechanic’s for mending, but if time allows he will try grooming with the old groomer, which in softish snow did a nice job yesterday. So if you head out, do so slowly, slowly, and watch out for the Stravites who seem to prefer these fast conditions.
