Despite rumors of hill disappearance, observers from the FES say there is no science behind them and the Walker Road trails retain their undulations. They also wanted to remind us that Drop Off Ridge, spectacular as it is, does not qualify as one of the Flat Earth’s Four Corners, but the trail broken to said vista is really nice- just be cautious descending at the switchback. There are now semblances of a track here and there on the packed Yellow side. The skier broken track on Blue will likely provide less side to side wobble. Glide is fine at 2-3/4 despite the cold and grip is great with wax, waxless and skins. All the wet spots seem to be sealed over and there is a nice fire on at Sugar Brook Lodge.
