Things were pretty stupendous on the trails yesterday afternoon. Bucky had been able to improve the track everywhere. Glide was zippy at 2.5-3/4, that is a not favorable rating on the Elizabethan Barometer but made skiing effortless, at least on the flats and descents. Grip wasn’t thje greatest and waxing had to be redone every 4-5 km or so and even the pole track was getting a bit slippy, tho enough soft snow to brake in. I expect conditions to remain about the same today as it didn’t get warm enough for the track to melt and get any more glazed. If you stick to the top of Yellow(LeRond, Cypass, out to the View, Coombs Road and the Wood Road from just West of Coombs Road off the ATV Trail out to the Sunny Spot, you can avoid alot of the hills, and return to Quarry Road vis Upper LeRond. A few flurries tonight will make things a lot slower by morning.
