A rare admission of ignorance from this know-it-all, despite it being more frequently present than I care to admit. After yesterday’s misery of Stilt Skiing, unless you were out early, today could be more of the same. Bucky is planning to groom and that will mitigate the risk, and most of the snow that fell yesterday did have a chance to warm up so should be mostly transformed and less likely to stick, but with temps around zero and above in the sun the risk of misery is still present. But if it doesn’t stick, it will be stunning skiing- manageable glide around 1 to 2/4, grip with wax until -1 and then waxless and skins best, and the boundless beauty of the Acadian forest in winter. So do you gamble or not? Well I am a sucker for such odds so will update the website in an hour. Cheers,
