Bucky is heading out as predicted early this morning, going to Beech Hill first to pack the sliding hill for the Winterfesters. Grooming will certainly break up the yesterday’s crust and make for lovely skiing, but I am uncertain about the glide- with mostly untransformed snow protected under the crust which will be slow, mixed with the speedy crust. My guess is a glide of 2.5-3 with lots of loose snow for snow plowing if you find the hills too zippy. But such uncertainty is painful to bare- such c
