It was nice to see the new snow this morning. Enviroment Canada;s promise of 5- 7 cm which would have been enough for Bucky to head out grooming was the usual 1/3 of predicted- they presumably use different rulers than the rest of us. I don’t think there will be enough snow to set tracks where they are needed- Crooked Tree trail, Red and other coniferous no-snow zones where only flat grooming has been possible and the wondrous Buckler Tracks remain a dreamed for future. The tracks from the Quarry Road Trail head will remain decent, although a bit bedraggled from lots of use yesterday. Glide will be 2-2.5/4 and grip great with Blue Extra working well for the Waxers. If you are heading there, the Quarry remains active(apparently they will close down after this week, at least for the Christmas season) so *DO Not Park on Quarry Road* When parking on Walker Road stay well away from the outlet of Quarry road or risk your vehicle being sideswiped by a dump truck. Cheers,
