The trails were groomed by a couple of amateurs yesterday so you will note the track is not as good as the last one Bucky created, but it has slowed things down, provided better grip and made the pole track more malleable. Glide will be about 2.5/4. Because there is still barely enough snow, there will be some exposed spots- feel free to use your ski to kick a bit of snow onto these. Blue Extra should work nicely for the waxers. We did the track up toward Drop Off Ridge and flat packed that popular track in the Quarry, where Ian discovered it is possible to get an ATV with tracks stuck when you encounter a snow drift with the grinding teeth down…..🙂.
