Crooked Tree Trail has been touched up this morning. Old and new snow mixed so it will be a bit faster than the rest of the trails where the skiff of new very cold snow will slow things down to sensible speeds- glide will be about 1.5 this morning to 2.5 this afternoon, grip should be great. There was not quite as much snow up the hill as in the lowlands so there may be bare/icey areas where there is conifer cover. Bare gravel and icey patches coming down through both Carter’s Quarry(left of the cable), and the steep hill from Coombs Quarry which the fluff from last night will not remedy so AVOID. As I mentioned yesterday, Bucky did groom most trails, including Blue but I am not sure what things are like there where the Smith’s are cutting a few trees and have tractored in on the Lower Blue, which I am pretty sure will be ungroomed. So if you are feeling grumpy or sad or bored, there is a cure awaiting you at exit 500…. Cheers,
