If you are hoping to replicate yesterday’s stunning glide(yes my cheek muscles are as worn out from smiling as my triceps from double poling), you will already be skiing and enjoying the near effortlessness of near zero resistance, and for those who prefer to get a better, perhaps less hazardous workout, waiting until this afternoon, when warm temps will produce melting and the slowing suction you are craving, joy will be yours. As promised, Bucky groomed all the Walker Road trails and conditions were great yesterday. The track will be a little worn today but still quite skiable. I would continue to avoid the steep quarry roads(the main route up to LeRond is still fine except for an icy spot near the crest of the hill nearest LeRond) and be cautious descending from the bench to the power line towards the Bridesway. And although Bucky’s work has improved the clockwise descent(from Swix back if you are fully digitalized), the last bit is still sketchy and icy. Cheers,
