The PLAN was for Bucky to continue the grooming adventure this morning, once he can find enough warm clothes to don. I imagine that the trails will be pretty skiable by early afternoon when the temp should be a balmy -10 degrees. Expect really slow conditions(cold and new snow both=sharp. grabby snow crystals, with little lubricating liquid H2O in the snow). The track will be soft- it usually takes 2-3 days for the snow to settle, and likely another grooming), so you may find your poles poking through the surface, especially if you have those tiny racing tips. And if you fall into the deep snow it may be tricky to get up again- in these, for us, rare conditions it may be best to remove skis first. But if you are waiting for forgiving conditions, this will be your day. Enjoy the sun.
