I went for a wee explore yesterday and was delighted to find 6-10 cm of new dense snow on open trails and roads. Quarry road wasn’t plowed and was skiable and likely the best venue. If it does get plowed you can walk to the cable and go via Quarry-Go_Round but coverage there won’t be as good. If we can get the ski doo started it may be possible to set some track but both are iffy. Kate Bredin was heading out to follow my track and will likely have everything on the Yellow, LeRond and Wood Road all nicely broken and in tip top shape. I haven’t ventured around the CTT but it looked promising, although coverage under softwoods will remain iffy. Kouch apparently got 15 cm of snow Tuesday night and they should be grooming as I write, and conditions should be superb once groomed.
