When I texted Bucky yesterday asking if he could groom I got a quick message back “Is this a Hoax?” and then “Yes”. He magically was able to set track on much of Red and I think Crooked Tree Trail, as well as Coombs Road, Cypass, out to the View,, and Lower LeRond. The glide on these sections is 2-3/4 and snowplowable. He was able to make a passable track through the Quarry out to the Walker Road but be cautious as coverage is minimal, and although ascending Quarry Go Round is fine but untracked, descending will be too fast for many. As expected there are lots of bare spots but mostly leaves and moss. *Be cautious on any downhills. *The track on The Birches and much of Blue remains pretty good but fast (3+). I would definitely do things in a clockwise direction if you do the Yellow-Blue or Gastug Loops. I noted a few areas where a counterclockwise skier yesterday had “chosen” to take a rest on their bum which I almost did as well in the same spots! Cheers,
