Head to the hills- what else would you expect from this source. It snowed 3-4 cm more in the past 24 hr up in the MicroClime so Bucky is hoping to head out mid day to see if he can set some tracks and do a bit of levelling. The coverage is still minimal under any canopy(the snow yesterday had little body, although it was blowing by the end of the day so maybe some of it got to ground. Glide will be about 2/4 if it stays cold and Blue extra should work divinely if you are so blessed as to possess wax skis. If you are accessing via Quarry Road, please park on the East(Town) side of Walker road. Even though the road is plowed it is best not to be tempted up with your vehicle. Bucky will likely be able to set a track up from there and in the mean time there is a track you can follow. It is possible to pick your way up Quarry Go Round as the recently graveled sections are uphill in this direction, but I would not descend via that route yet, though even descent through the quarry should be done with caution. And there is a risk of sunshine, so, atypically, this afternoon may be the best ski time. Cheers,
