Bucky will be heading out in the next little while to try to scratch out a track. Anywhere he can get into relatively undisturbed snow will produce fairly soft conditions but on well used areas the track may be more rudimentary. As the snow is now all transformed, glide will be brisker than in recent days, likely pushing 3/4 as conditions warm this afternoon. If we get the promised few cm of snow that will of course slow everything down nicely. Cheers,
