The TOC trail committee built a new section of trail this year which cuts between the two sides of the Blue trail, avoiding the hills and logging activity on the far section into and out of Smith Camp. This relatively flat(other than one wee “dip”) route will connect the bucolic Wood Road on Blue with flat route out to the ATV trail and Gastug further extending our “easyish” terrain. We feel this effort needs a name, and that you can do better than “Seniors Bypass”, so we are having a contest. Rules: 1. submit names to grothomas@gmail.com by the 30th of January. I will then send the nominations out for voting. 2. The theme is “How does this trail make you feel” 3.
