Yes this is when there is just enough water in the snow to get great glide( if you weren’t out at -12 this morning you missed the slow sand like conditions) yet not enough to cause too much slipping on propulsion, nor the very slowing suction of wet snow. And with the sunshine compounding all this Glory it should be another lovely day in the woods The coverage is adequate, the track getting rather ragged, the glide will again be 2.5-3/4 with adequate snowplowing space, and the Fire at Sugar Brook Lodge will be on shortly. And if you are a waxite Blue Extra will be great with maybe the need for Violet Special by -3. Cheers,
