After the snow ground everything to a snail’s pace yesterday, at least in the opinion of this lazy skier, glide is now 2.5-3/4 with lots of soft snow in the pole lanes to snow plow or even hop over to so as to slow things down. Grip wise, Blue worked better than Green and skins and waxless should work splendidly. If you ever find the latter two options slipping, you can add a skiff of grip wax behind the skin/fish scales for 10 cm (if you put it in front it may get dragged back onto your skin/scales and “plug” them up). No sign of any logging today. The Lower/Old Blue has a passable track most of the way along the center hump so it is passable, better as an uphill venue than down. The slowest track is the one which heads up toward Drop Off Ridge which has only a very gradual slope for the first 500 m or so. Cheers,
