Conditions remain similar with the addition of a mm or 2 of freezing rain yesterday which will enhance glide sublimely. Fortunately for the Slow Ski crowd the man made track has lots of wee ups and downs, and ins and outs which depress speed nicely compared to tracks of Bucky’s creation. Caution passing under coniferous canopy, especially on any hills. The gravel work on QGR was completed yesterday and the crew(Jake, Jessie, Ian, Cy and this writer) were very happy with the result. Although Cyrus was threatening to go back and sweep snow back onto the gravel, I suspect this threat was idle so I would avoid this route until more snow. You’ll likely need to walk most of the way up from the Walker Road to the start of LeRond as the road was plowed as part of yesterdays gravelling, but then the pleasure begins. Cheers,
