Yesterdays steady barrage of flurries obviated the need for more grooming and the masses were out to enjoy the great conditions. Glide slowed to about a 2/4 and this was enough to satiate most lovers of the “Slow and Gentle”. Conditions will be much the same today with glide increasing to 2.5 to 3 as temps warm and the track gets packed. Lots of soft snow in the pole track to enjoy snow plowing. Melbourne and Colin were cutting wood at Smith Camp yesterday so be cautious of heavy machinery and rutted tracks if you head round there, or just Blow Through the Blew Through instead and avoid it all.
