Brrr!

Not that you don’t already know that. Trails are the best they have been this season. CTTrail still had lots of bare spots- best to ski downhills out of the track. Glide yesterday was a gleeful 3/4 but with lots of soft snow -even the normally sedate skiers were grinning ear to ear and going back in the afternoon for more. Glide should be slower today with the cold, likely 2/4 and anything will grip well. I would plan on short loops with the ability to abort quickly if you start loosing sensation in your extremities. The windchill will be less in the woods but -18 is still pretty cold. pre warm boots, wear lots of layers, bring extra mitts etc. There should be a fire on at SBL by mid day. Cheers,
